You wish to discover the joys of white water for 2 people on a boat. You want to learn how to steer a canoe kayak by yourself and with two people. You are a couple, with friends or family, then this descent is for you!
You will navigate in a canoe-rafting, it's an inflatable boat belonging to the rafting family and can accommodate 2 people with a canoe-kayak form specially designed for the river up to class 4. You will be able to use it in kayak or canoe version with a double or single paddle.
The course of the Haute-Guisane with rapids up to class 3 is well suited to the discovery of this boat. You will navigate autonomously on the Canoraft with 2 people supervised by a guide who will teach you how to coordinate yourself as well as the basic manoeuvres (steer, advance, stop, etc...) to go down the river safely.
The meeting point for the activity is at Monêtier-les-Bains at our reception point located along the river near Les Grands Bains.
You will be equipped on site and we will transport you to the start of the course.
Before boarding your guide will give you a short technical briefing on canoeing and whitewater safety so that you are ready to navigate the river.
During the descent you will cross small rapids, you will cross the village of Villeneuve in Serre Chevalier, bucolic view of the river, you will pass in front of the rock of the Whale and finally you will arrive in Chantemerle.
Back at our rafting base you will be able to enjoy the pictures of your performance in Cano-rafting.
