Are you looking for whitewater sensations? Do you feel like sailing a two-seater canoe in Serre Chevalier? Then try the challenge of crossing the rapids of the Guisane in a Canoraft!
Also known as Canoe-rafting, you will navigate, accompanied by a guide on a course consisting of several technical rapids that you will have to cross in teams of 2 in the boat. The course starts in the commune of Monêtier-les-Bains at Les Guibertes and finishes at the Saint-Chaffrey slide for a total of 8 kilometres of river.
You will navigate independently on the Canoraft and your guide will show you the techniques to cross the rapids while ensuring your safety.
We will meet you at our base (map below) to equip you.
Then we transport you by minibus to the boarding.
Your guide will give you a briefing and you will be off on your adventure. You will first pass a few small class 3 rapids to get you started and, after passing the village of Chantemerle, you will start the most technical part with a series of beautiful class 3 rapids up to the Saint-Chaffrey slide.
From there, you will go back up by minibus to Monêtier-les-Bains to change your clothes.
We will also propose you to see the slideshow of photos of your descent.
