This half-day rafting descent allows you to discover the lower part of the Guisane river which lies between La Salle-les-Alpes and Briançon in the valley of Serre Chevalier Briançon.
You will navigate on a class 4 course, the most sportive of the Guisane. The first part up to the slide of Saint-Chaffrey will allow you to warm up and introduce you to the techniques of navigation on a rafting. The second part will be the most sensational with the famous Entry rapids, the Maze, the Wallet or the Montlhéry. Sensations guaranteed!
During the descent you will also have the opportunity to jump off a rock or to experiment with whitewater swimming techniques, to vary the pleasures.
The period when the water levels in the river are the highest and therefore the most sensational are the months of May, June and early July. Discover the guisane in all its splendour and strength on a rafting trip accompanied by an experienced guide.
We will meet you at our base in Monêtier-les-bains in the morning or afternoon.
We provide you with all the necessary equipment and we transport you by minibus to our boarding point in Salle-les-Alpes.
Before going on the water your guide will give you a briefing around the boat, after which you will embark on a rafting trip from 1h30 to 2h.
Arriving in Briançon, the mini-bus will be waiting for you for a return transport to our base.
You will have the possibility to view the photos of your descent as soon as you return to the base.
This rafting course is aimed at adults and teenagers from 16 years old minimum and who are used to make a physical effort because in some rapids the guide will ask the crew to actively participate in the boat's manoeuvre.
